Mühle - Shaving brush "Classic" olive wood Silvertip Badger

Shaving brush with silver badger point
Ring size M: 21 mm
Handles + olive wood material
Olive wood has been valued since ancient times for its excellent material properties and warm color. It is found throughout the Mediterranean and has been used for centuries to make everyday objects or artistic objects.

The wood we use must dry carefully for months before the handle molds are turned. We then sand the surfaces, seal them with oil and polish them to a silky shine. This makes the soft, honey-colored grain of the wood stand out particularly well.

The brush head - Silvertip badger pick
Among experts, the Silberspitz badger hair is considered the crowning glory: only the best, carefully selected badger hair is used for the shaving brushes, which are made entirely by hand.

This precious natural material is particularly soft and flexible. The fine, tapered bristles have the ability to absorb a lot of water and produce a thick, creamy lather. Another quality feature is the so-called "mirror" - an even black band along the course of the predominantly silvery shiny hair.

This first-class product is made with historic tools in a traditional process that only a few people in the world still master. The semi-circular shape of the brush head is achieved by hand when the brush is tied.
