Pike Brothers - Jeans '1937 Roamer'

€149,00
Typical work trousers as worn in the US in the 1930s. Characteristic of trousers from that time is the wide cut and high waist. This was not fashion but a necessary criterion for denim trousers of that time. Because until the early 1940s, denim trousers were intended as overpants so that the precious woolen trousers worn underneath were better protected. In order to be able to put on and wear the trousers without any problems, the fit had to be loose. For a better fit the wearer could attach suspenders and there was always an easy way to tighten the trousers at the waist. With one or two straps.
All these details can be found on our 1937 Roamer Pant. Pants, as the name suggests, made for roaming the world and going on adventures.
