Visconti's Rembrandt collection is a tribute to the famous painter and engraver from the 17th century: Rembrandt Harmenszoon Van Rijn, better known as Rembrandt.
The four new colors in the Rembrandt "S" collection - orange, blue, burgundy and black - were often used by the painter and represent the chiaroscuro technique, a painting technique with strong contrasts of shadow and light. This new collection of pens is finished with ruthenium metalwork to create the same contrasts in the pen that Rembrandt created on the canvas with the chiaroscuro technique. The pen has a new, more modern engraved ring.
